Its Wednesday, August 26, the third day of school. My students and I are off to a great start. We decided though, that today was the hardest day to get up..and tomorrow it might even be harder, but we will get up and come to school. We completed our social contract today. That is a list of words explaining how we are going to treat each other in our class, some of the words on our list include: respectful, self-confidence, listening, participation, self-control, friendly, loyal, nice, helpful..and several more.
We also learned that R2W is back, and we are excited. We know that sometimes we get sick and have to stay home, but for those little aches, we are going to come to school! And we will try to be here on time too!

Your class words – all wonderful and will certainly insure a successful year. With choices like these, your students are sure to become master collaborators and I cannot wait to see what comes out of those creative minds.
