Here is  slideshow of our Red Ribbon crazyness.  The Talent Show Friday was wonderful, but my pictures didn’t turn out great. 🙁 So Congrats on those  who were apart!

WOW, Our first six weeks is all most finished, that went quick!!  Just to let you know, report cards go out Thursday, October 1, 2009.  There will be a conference note coming home soon, but just to let you know.  My day for  parent/teacher conferences will be October 6th.    The conferences are schedule for 20 minutes each.     Be looking for a sign up sheet!!

We survived the first week of school.  I hope everyone rested up over the weekend and is ready for a another busy, but great week.  I will see you Monday morning.

Its Wednesday, August 26, the third day of school.   My students and I are off to a great start.  We decided though, that today was the hardest day to get up..and tomorrow it might even be harder, but we will get up and come to school.  We completed our social contract today.  That is a list of words explaining how we are going to treat each other in our class, some of the words on our list include:  respectful, self-confidence, listening, participation, self-control, friendly, loyal, nice, helpful..and several more. 

We also learned that R2W is back, and we are excited.  We know that sometimes we get sick and have to stay home, but for those little aches, we are going to come to school!  And we will try to be here on time too!

Summer Vacation is quickly coming to an end.  Stores have aisle dedicated to school supplies and new school clothes.  Teachers are meeting on campus to plan a wonderful school year.  Class list have been posted and excitement is building.  I can’t wait to see everyone bright and early Monday August 24th.

It’s the last day of school and I’m learning how to blog!  Check back later to see what I have planned for next year’s third graders.
